Back At Home
Araceli Hope

They say things will never be the same...

After all the planes, trains and automobiles--literally--we made it home. In our fridge we found that close friends had placed a homemade lasagna inside, and had set up a bassinet and all sorts of baby gear. Every other night, friends stop by bearing a meal and open arms to hold our new little girl--who loves people.

Daddy went back to work that Monday, but comes home early every day. Mom has two months off, and will work part-time when she returns. Meanwhile, she and Araceli enjoy shopping, cuddling, and quiet times smiling at each other. When Dad comes home, he takes over the diapering and feeding and enjoys placing Araceli in her favorite spot--his chest. We don't really get worn out, because we take turns w/the middle of the night feedings. This little one is a joy and we feel so thankful and blessed.
